USTC Alumni Foundation is a non-profit organization, which is independent
of USTC and any other USTC alumni associations. Its mission is to
encourage the very best students and professors to study or to work in USTC.
Everyone who conforms to the Bylaws and pays membership dues can be its
member.
Its Trustee Board will be elected once every other year by members. The
Trustee Board will appoint the President (one year term). No one is
allowed to be the President for three consecutive terms. The President
will appoint a Governor Board and a Advisory Board.
No member is allowed to get salary or work compensation from the
Foundation. Other than postage and communication costs, at least 85%
of donations and membership dues will be put into scholarships. Details
can be found in the Bylaws of the Foundation.
