co-organize '95 China Lecturing Tour. The goals of this tour are:
1) Bring the latest development in science and technology to China ( The
emphasis will be on those topics closely related to China's economic
development, such as electronics, communications, computers, and biotech).
2) Bring north American market infomation to those business entities who
are interested in penetrating into American market.
3) Establish connections between oversea Chinese professionals and research
institutes and business entities in China for future infomation exchange.
We are calling for participants from oversea Chinese community who meet the
following criterion:
1) Chinese professionals in north America with demonstrated expertise in his
or her field.
2) Lecturing topics should be interested to Chinese hosting companies and
institutes.
3) This is optional. For those who want to have their international travel
expenses covered, lecturing topics should also be interested to corporate
sponsors in north America (The corporate sponsor is in a general term,
including foundations, agencies, institutions.).
The lecturing tour will cover several industrial cities in China (e.g.,
Shanghai, Beijing, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Qingdao). The expenses in China will
be covered by organization committee. Very limited fund for international
travel expenses will be arranged by organization committee through corporate
sponsorship for those applicants whose topics are of interest to corporate
sponsors. Those applicants who arrange their own international travel
expenses will be given priority in consideration. Those who have made
arrangements or are in a process of making arrangements with corporate
entities in China and are willing to join our lecturing tour will also be
given preferable consideration. We welcome inputs, suggestions, and comments
