Now I've set up a different experiment, with a coil and a resistor (an LR circuit). Like the RC circuit, frequency, resistance and now inductance all affect both the current's amplitude and its phase shift with respect to the voltage. Now vary the inductance of the system, and compare how varying the inductance affects the phase shift:

A) This works the same as the capacitor, as the inductance gets small, the phase gets bigger.
B) An inductor is different than a capacitor, as the inductance gets small, the phase gets less negative.
C) An inductor is different than a capacitor, as the inductance gets small, the phase becomes more negative.
