The OASIS Annual Culture Show
Join us, as we travel the length and breadth of the Indian Subcontinent, showcasing its rich and complex cultural heritage with performances featuring classical, folk and contemporary forms of music, dance and drama. Admission is FREE. Light snacks will be served prior to the show and during intermission. Following the show, a traditional Indian dinner will be served for $3 per person.

About us:
Welcome to the website of the Organization of the Associated Students of the Indian Subcontinent, or OASIS for short. OASIS is a cultural and ethnic club at the California Institute of Technology, which serves to bring together and showcase the various hues and colours of the cultures that represent the Indian subcontinent, which consists of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and the Maldives. OASIS also provides a social environment where students and scholars who are part of, or interested in the rich heritage of this part of Asia, can interact. Many popular festivals are celebrated, and an annual culture show is usually put up every Spring. Other activities involve performances by visiting artists, regular movie screenings and pot-luck dinners.
