On behalf of USTCAF, Xuan Changneng (839) wrote to USTC president
to seek his support to our foundation and passed some concerns and
suggestions by overseas USTC alumni to USTC administration. At the
same time, Yu Haibo (843) also wrote to USTC Alumni Headquarter in
Hefei seeking to set up channels to strengthen communication between
USTC alumni and our Alma Mater. USTCAF also published its first news-
letter on August 20 (edited by Bai Dawei (814)).

5. New Email Address for USTC .......................................
---------------------------------------------------------------------
>From XIE@sai-1.swales.com Tue Aug 29 09:31:26 1995

Please note that we no longer use the accounts at ROSE any more, since
USTCnet has its own direct access to Internet now. Next time you may
directly drop your message to mailer@ustc.ac.cn in case you don't know
the recipient's e-mail address or he(she) does not have one. The mailer
account is a commonly shared one. Yet you may send e-mail to
root@ustc.ac.cn if you have any question.

Please let our USTCERs abroad know our new address.

Thanx,
USTCnet manager
