The Staff & Faculty Consultation Center was established in 1989 to provide assessment, problem-solving, counseling, and/or referral services to Caltech employees and their families.

Caltech understands that, at one time or another, everyone experiences problems that directly or indirectly affect work. The SFCC staff is committed to helping employees whose personal, work, or family related concerns impact job performance. Supervisors and management personnel may consult with SFCC counselors for new ideas and approaches to resolving work related issues.

Licensed mental-health professionals, experienced in individual and family counseling, crisis intervention, and substance abuse education and treatment, have developed this program to assist employees and their families.
