The Protein/Peptide Micro Analytical Laboratory
is a core resource facility located in the Beckman Institute. The laboratory supports research in biology and chemistry across the Caltech campus in protein and biopolymer structure analysis and proteomics.

Services - Methods

• MS - Mass Spectrometry of proteins, peptides, oligonucleotides, organics, organometallics, and inorganics.

• LC/MS and MS/MS - Nanoflow capillary high performance liquid chromatography (cLC), cLC-MS, cLC-MS/MS.

• Protein Identification - Includes digestion, database search, and analysis.

• Post-Translational Modification determination - including phosphorylation, glycosylation, protein labelling.

• N-terminal Edman sequencing.
