Resource Center on campus where one can obtain information about child care,
elder care, retirement, etc. Two of the counselors are bi-lingual in Spanish.

strives for the advancement of the status of women on campus, provides a place
for the discussion of women's concerns, and offers a clearinghouse of information
for women while providing support and advocacy. The Center's services are
available to all members of the Caltech community. Confidentiality is offered
to a limited degree, as the Women's Center is an agent of the Institute.
helps graduate and undergraduate students achieve academic excellence and
good emotional health. At times, the challenges of academics can result in
emotional distress for students, while fro other individuals, emotional difficulties
can impede academic achievement. The Counseling Center staff can help identify
the sources of difficulty and develop a plan for helping. Groups are also
offered through the Counseling Center. Services at the Counseling Center are

helps all employees of the Institute with workplace concerns up to and including
grievances. The Employee
Relations office offers confidentiality to a limited degree, as it is
acting as an agent of the Institute.
is the student government for Caltech graduate students. Its
mission is to "work to maximize the quality of life for the graduate
student community at Caltech." The GSC interacts with the institute's
administrative bodies to put forward the interests of the student body.
The GSC is affiliated with other student governments through the National
Association of Graduate and Professional Students ( NAGPS ).
seeks to foster a sense of community, provide resources for career
and personal development, and provide a framework for representation on
campus and in the local community for postdoctoral scholars from all
departments of the Institute.
