President of Hongkong University of Science and Technology, Professor Paul Zhu, visited Caltech and gave a presentation introducing current Higher Education System in Hong Kong and sharing the 15-year development of HKUST.

The presentation centred around HongKong's higher education scene and opportunities arising from HK's migration from a 3-year university programme to a four-year programme, which means a 1/3 increase in studnet population and a corresponding increase in faculty. Professor Theodore Wu and his wife, Professor Yuk Yang, and about 50 postdocs and graduate students attended the session.
