Hongjin Tan

My name is Hongjin Tan. It is my third year now as a graduate student in Materials Science. Previously I received my BS degree from the Department for Intensive Instruction at Nanjing University. I have an open and positive personality and do work with passion. I enjoy doing many kinds of sports and outdoor activities. I have been benefited a lot from our warm Chinese community in Caltech, and it is my turn coming to contribute my own effort to the community. Let us have fun at this institution! Hi! This is Wendian (Leo) Shi, a second year graduate in Electrical Engineering. Previously I received both B.S. and M.S. degrees from Peking University. I like traveling around, seeing different places and meeting new friends. Being open and energetic, that's what I treasure always. Zan Zhang

My name is Zan Zhang. I am a first year graduate student in Electrical Engineering, and previously received my Bachelor degree from Wuhan University, Master degree from Chinese Academy of Sciences. Xin Hu

As indicated above, this is Xin Hu, second year graduate student in Applied and Computational Math. I received both bachelor and master degrees from Peking University before starting my brand-new and fantastic journey in US. In the past one and a half year, I received enormous help from our lovely Caltech Chinese community, from grocery shopping to courses, from academics to personal life, and etc. etc.. I really have a lot of fun here, and enjoy the life more and more. I think I have already taken too much from this community, and it's the right time for me to give now.

Hello. My name is Ning Du. I’m a third year undergraduate in Environmental Science & Engineering. I’m glad to have been part of the Caltech C community through my past involvement in the annual cultural performance shows. As one of the few Caltech Chinese undergrads, I hope to make the Caltech C more visible to the undergrad community and to bring in more undergrad talents as well.
