  • 05-19-07 - Visit the Recycling Center!  The CETF will take a tour of recycling at Caltech and then take go on a short bike-ride to visit the site of Caltech's recycling vendor, the Allan Company to understand the recycling process better.
  • 05-12-07 - Friends of the LA River Cleanup - Arroyo Seco.  Click here for more info.
  • 04-20-07 - Earth Day Fair:  This is the big annual environmental fair! Every year there is food, T-shirts, and live music by the Red Door Café. Caltech clubs and local environmentally friendly organizations fill the whole area from Chandler to the lawn behind Winnett Lounge, passing out free compact fluorescent light bulbs, fliers, water bottles, bumper-stickers.   • Ongoing - Caltech Carbon Petition - In order to set an example for the community, the CETF is sponsoring a carbon petition to reduce the environmental footprint of the campus.

    Information table on the Olive Walk, from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
    There will be live music and food.

    Information table on the lawn south of Beckman Auditorium, from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm.
    There will be refreshments and a barbecue.
