A special election was held to replace departing executive committee members Drew Keppel and Pinkesh Patel (LIGO, LIGO/Tapir); only two candidates were nominated, Jenne Driggers and Nick Fotopoulos (LIGO), who were therefore inducted directly to the committee. Thus the executive committee for the remainded of the 2009-2011 term consists of:
