Anthony - computers, SMART system, new AKTA
Beth - on-line lab inventories (cell lines, constructs, vectors, and primers), Addgene, bacterial incubators, autoclave bacterial waste, lab safety officer, pipetmen and pipet aids, order backup LN2 tank for -80°C chest freezer, animal protocols, Beckman DU-64 spectrophotometer {SC}, organize common -20°C freezer items, defrost -20°C freezers as necessary
Devin - lab radiation safety officer, ELISA plate readers, Nanodrop {SC}
Fan - organize/clean cold room crystal area (in Jensen's cold room, rm 335), PCR machines, pH meter, acid/base dilutions, pH standards, gel filtration standards, 1X and 10X Laemmli buffers (both with and without SDS)
Galina - microscopes, camera
Jenny - old AKTA, crystal area organization, ordering crystal supplies, crystal dewar
Josh - Biacore {SC}; organization of general lab primers and vectors
Len - X-ray safety officer (replace radiation badges and rings, monthly), UNIX maintenance, X-ray hardware, joint group meeting, beam time scheduling/proposals
Lynn - order lab supplies (HHMI/ERM and Caltech/TechMart), track orders, check-in and date received packages, purchase ethanol, stock shelves with general lab supplies (tubes, plates, filters, syringes, needles, pipets, pipet tips, office supplies, etc.), autoclave and put away clean glassware, autoclave tips, tubes and bottles, service contracts/renewals, recycling, liaison with sales representatives
Marta - Pamela's assistant, group meeting assignments, Bjorklab web design/update, Bjorkab mailing list, Kronos time keeper, lab roster, annual report coordinator, email reminders (work updates, group meeting food, birthday celebrations, meeting with Pamela)
Noreen - brush ice from –80ºC freezer doors (weekly), tissue culture room, autoclave tissue culture waste, LN2 cell dewar, order backup LN2 tanks for cell dewar, lab cell-line inventory
Pavle - Mosquito robot, Fluidigm system
Priyanthi - clean and organize weighing area, LB/carb plates, make electro-competent and chemically-competent cells, organization/ordering of plasmid purification, PCR clean up, and gel purification kits
Rachel - Milli-Q water system, refill water tanks, LB/carb plates, make electro-competent and chemically-competent cells, organization/ordering of mutagenesis kits, organize common –80ºC freezer items (competent cells)
