Library
The library is located in the Caltech Y building alongside their books. Their hours are M-F 9 to 5. Items in the library may be borrowed free of charge, or you may read them in the Y's lounge. We are now using the general purpose sign-out sheet that is also used for the Caltech Y's books. If you notice anything missing, and it hasn't been checked out, please contact email us!. Also, if you're thinking about buying a book because we don't have it, check with us first, as we might be willing to add it to our collection. We're always open to suggestions for new books to buy.
Please return books and movies as promptly as possible! There is no set checkout period, but keep it to a minimum, especially with popular items (e.g. the topo map CDs, Joshua Tree guidebooks, ...). And please, use the signout sheet both when you checkout books and when you return them.
The list below is a comprehensive list of our holdings. Books are organized by category, then by title. "PB" stands for "Published Date", and "AC" stands for "Acquired Date".
