Welcome to Amnesty International Group 614
in Culver City, California

The Culver City Group is currently working on the case of four men in Pakistan who have been charged with blasphemy. If convicted, the mandatory punishment is death. The Culver City Group is also taking part in the celebration of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights' 50th Anniversary.

New members are always welcome!
 The group meets on the second Monday of every month at 7:15 p.m. Please call for directions.

Group 614 is one of many local affiliates of Amnesty International USA, which in turn is the United States national section of the worldwide Amnesty International movement. Founded in 1961, AI works impartially for the release of all prisoners of conscience, fair and prompt trials for political prisoners, and an end to torture and executions (for further information, see the brief history and description and the text of the Statute of AI).
