B. End of 06-07 year SWE events
1. Senior dinner- dinner for graduating seniors
-sent out an email to gauge interest
-or maybe a social at lunch to honor seniors
-possible dates- Sunday night?
2. End of year “SWE social”
3. A survey sent out to the people asking them how to improve SWE, what kind of questions to ask?
C. New t-shirts
1. Ideas for new design
- designs from the conference
- ask friends for t-shirt design over the summer
2. Want them before new school year

-pics from Dress for Success
-Introduce a girl to Engineering Day

E. 07-08 year SWE events
1. Frosh camp- Adrianne, perhaps wear a pin, promoting and getting prefrosh join
2. Club fair
a. SWE & frosh mentoring sign up, get people to sign up to be mentored
3. Possible ice cream social-beginning of the fall, during rotation, although it can be way too hectic
4. School-wide “Dress for Success”
a. Yvonne wants to start a committee to get a larger campus-wide Dress for Success event during the fall career fair. Anyone interested in being on that committee? Spamming SWE list also
5. First term general meeting- within the first 3 weeks of school
6. Frosh mentoring
a. Frosh propaganda- stuff their mailbox and have emails
7. SWE National Conference in Nashville, Tennessee (Oct. 25-27, 2007)
-most likely no interest because during school and around midterms week
8. SWE Regional Conference in Pasadena (Jan. 25-27, 2008)
- at the Sheraton, everyone should be able to come
9. “Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day”
- third week of Feb.
10. SWE’s “Dress for Success”
-have the Dress for Success before the spring career fair, try to get it on a Friday so people won’t have to miss class
F. Ideas for SWE events
1. Girl Scouts wants to do a joint event with SWE- think about maybe one event for them on campus (campus tour, etc), and give them mentors from college students (much like the freshman mentoring program)
2. faculty lunches/socials- Karen from the alumni center
Funding for these events- where should we be getting the donations for the future?
3. Female undergrad socials
4. Events with Women’s Center
5. Arrange for socials with professor to create a bigger networking system
